In honor of Earth Day, Anheuser-Busch is celebrating the first anniversary of our U.S. 2025 Sustainability Goals. Over the past year, our teams and colleagues across the country have been hard at work finding new, innovative ways to reduce the environmental impact of our brewing and logistics operations in pursuit of these ambitious goals.

Each and every day, Anheuser-Busch’s teams across the country are working hard to be leaders in environmental sustainability. We were proud to commit to purchasing 50 percent of our electricity from wind power, which is enough to brew Budweiser each year.
Of course, none of this would be possible without Anheuser-Busch’s many partners, such as Enel Green Power and Nikola, who have helped us bring these programs to life and ensure our commitments drive meaningful environmental change and contribute to our shared objective for a cleaner, more sustainable world for future generations.
Anheuser-Busch is proud of all the work we have done so far, such as achieving a 99.8 percent recycling rate in our U.S. breweries – yet we are never satisfied and there is still more work to be done to achieve our goals by 2025.
A healthy environment is a key ingredient for Anheuser-Busch to brew the beers we know and love. Doing even more to protect the environment from seed to sip gives us purpose beyond brewing.
